I have an HP laptop with windows 8. I use Office 365. When I am signed in my primary account I cannot get outlook to load. It claims there is an issue with and apple dll file not loading properly. The file it mentions is in its place.

When I am in admin account outlook loads just fine.

    Any thoughts?

Issues - outlook, sounds about right, but then you seek help not wise cracks :)

I've found google to be quite informative, type in the dll name and see what you find. Hopefully someone else will have a worthwhile suggestion soon :)

Rev - which file does it say is not loading properly?

    ADDED:
Also, apparently you're on a Mac (or some type of Apple computer); what version of iTunes, iCloud, etc.? Are you trying to sync an iCloud calendar with Outlook?

I do not have an apple I have a windows 8. This seems to be tied to either the icloud app for outlook or itunes.

Yep, you're correct. Give me a few minutes; you're not the only one with the problem, and it looks like there are a couple of different ways to work on it.

I googled it and tried three different ways. None worked. It is interesting that when I log into my admin account it works just fine but in my primary account it does not work.

Sorry, Rev; got called away. My first inclination is to ask if you've completely uninstalled iCloud, using something like Revo Uninstaller or CCleaner to ensure all related files and registry entries are deleted. Second inclination is to ask how many messages do you have in your iCloud account that Outlook is trying to process? (one article mentioned that Outlook 365 can freeze trying to sync with large accounts)

AND, because of the tidbit you mentioned about it working in the admin account, I have to wonder how iCloud was installed: via the admin account or the other user or guest account? (because that would lead me to ask if the permission settings are set for iCloud to be used by all users of the computer, or only the admin; or if iCloud is looking at the account name and trying to reconcile a "second" iCloud account)

OK now I have a new error.

"Cannot Start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the outlook window. The set of folders cannot be opened. The operation failed."

So what I did was go to:

    windows button>search>mail>mail(microsoftoutlook 2013)>profiles>

then I switched it from outlook in the profiles list to my name which was also in the profiles list and now it works.

    Thanks for the input
