That's a beautiful pic of Bonaventure Cemetery, next time we're in Savannah I'll be certain to make that tour (we almost returned this year but decided to go north to Erie instead, we love Savannah, maybe next Spring).

It's a gorgeous and peaceful place. They have tours, so be sure and ask. :)

By the way, love the pics you shared. My grandfather was a Baptist preacher and a coal miner in east Tennessee. I was born in Middlesboro, Kentucky. It's a beautiful place. :)

Beautiful! Love the flowers and the critters, too!

Here's a shot from last weekend in the Cohutta Wilderness in Fannin County, GA:

I can't believe it ....I did it.....I have just been on a lovely trip to the bottom of the South Island here in NZ. The weather was superb.....cool but sunny. Flew to Stewart Island, toured Dunedin, Doubtful Sound, Middlemarch, and for me the highlight...Owaka, Balclutha and the Caitlin's...where my fathers family settled with other Scots emigrants. I had lunch with a family member whom I had only met via FaceBook.

Great job, Melanie!! Sounds like you had a lovely trip. I hope we can see more of your beautiful country now that you can post pictures!

rsr, those pelicans are amazing! Great lighting!

This is the Toccoa River in North Georgia back a few weeks ago when we had a cold snap. There is ice in the river, but I particularly like the reflection of the sky.

Beautiful Gwen. RSR, thank you for the pelican photo, I miss them in NZ as I am very near the sea, but Pelicans do not live in NZ.

It may be a problem with your browser. I have been using Opera for this forum but I just looked and my post with the castle showed no picture, no link....I changed to firefox and it shows up just fine.

Try to upload a photo to Photobucket. http://photobucket.com/

After it uploads when you click on the photo there will be a box to the right with
"Share Links" Choose the bottom link "IMG" and click on it. It will say "copied" then Paste/Post it here on the Photography thread.
