So David's not a murderer?? You should take a break from BB to read your Bible.

Didn't say that. Maybe you should reconsider why I said what I did.

Did David repent of his crimes?

    Did Calvin?

You tell me since you've obviously spent every waking moment with him for all 54 years of his life.

More derogatory comments. Why can't you deal with the issues in an honest, straightforward manner?

There is ample evidence that Calvin never regretted what he did.

I never heard about the repentance of Calvin about his murder of Servetus.

But he proudly recommended the chamberlain to the King of Navarre.

Writing in 1561 to the Marquis Paet (chamberlain to the King of Navarre), Calvin said,
Honour, glory, and riches shall be the reward of your pains; but above all, do not fail to rid the country of those scoundrels [Anabaptists and others] , who stir up the peoples to revolt against us. Such monsters should be exterminated, as I have exterminated Michael Servetus the Spaniard. (emphasis mine)*

What did I say derogatory? Where did you get that from? It seems like you have a very wild imagination.

I intend this to be my last post on this subject, as it is counterproductive to engage in discussion with those who will not admit the truth of the historical record.

I have stated time and again that I am ardently opposed to any persecution, torture, or murder by Christians of other Christians in the name of Christ. I have also stated and given evidence that this was done and was the policy of ALL the Magisterial Reformers and of the RCC. They did this to each other, and they most especially with great zeal did it to the Anabaptists and Baptists. This is a historical fact, and facts can be denied, but they can't be changed. Those modern-day denominations, spiritual descendants of those who did such have even apologized to the modern-day descendants of those who were persecuted and murdered. Lutherans, Reformed, and RCC have made such apologies.

These are the historical and documented facts which no amount of spinning, deflecting, insulting, or anything else can change.

And I'll repeat: No defender of such, and no defender of state churchism, is a true Baptist, no matter what they say.

All anyone has to do to know the truth is simply to research it and study some church history. All of these groups who apologized for their spiritual ancestors' atrocities wouldn't have done so if it had not happened.

That is all that needs to be said, and I will have no further discussion with dishonest, disingenuous, malicious people who exhibit no fruit of the spirit. I have reached out to some in peace and got no response. I have shaken the dust from my feet.

Yes, indeed it is. And it is descriptive --not pejorative.

Anybody ever met a Reprobate Calvinist?
All the ones I run into tell me they are Elect. It seems like Calvinism is the ticket to Election

You are being flippant. You don't want a serious conversation. And what in the world does your inane question have to do with the OP?
