View Poll Results: The Goatee and Modern Worship

I wear a Goatee. I believe that the choice of music in Christian worship is not so much a moral issue, but largely a matter of culture and personal preference. There are no good or evil styles

I'm finding that most of the the people I know who sport a goatee also embrace modern worship, worship that is characterized by one or more of the following: P & W, rock music, exhibitionism and other things in common with charismatic styles. According to this article, the Goatee was "...popularized by the musicians, baseball players, athletes and sports heroes of the day."
Is there a connection?
There was a poll a few days ago about this, but I'd like to see how the results might differ from the last Goatee poll if the questions were just a little different.

I sometimes wear a goatee, and think this is a very weird poll.

"In satirical fiction, the goatee is often a symbol of a character's evil twin. This may be due to historical portrayals of the devil sporting a goatee, and has been used in plot lines such as the episode Mirror, Mirror of the television series Star Trek, in which the character Spock had an evil alternate in a parallel universe who possessed a goatee."
|
Does that mean there's a "good" universe, and I'm in the bad one? There's a clean-shaven Joshua leading worship in complete traditional style in that universe, unlike his evil twin (me) leading from the keyboard and singing a mixture of traditional and *gasp* newer songs.... well, I hope he's thin too. Then at least he'd be healthy while his chin is cold.

Actually I know men in both catagories of music, and their facial hair has nothing to do with their preference for music or worship style. I think it's pretty silly.

Joshua, have you considered that maybe you're the good twin?

The only thing more ridiculous than this poll and that any rational minded person would even bring up this as a legitimate subject, is that 28 people have responded.
Bro Tony
PS... And no I did not respond to the poll---this falls under the category of---"you have got to be kidding!"
