I noticed that some of the polls on here are made public and that's why I do Not vote on all of the polls here at this forum...

Would you vote on a poll that is public (Be advised that this is a public poll: other users can see the choice(s) you selected.), or do you prefer to vote on a poll that is privite?

Polls on sensitive issues should be private. I like seeing public responses on the others.

It doesn't bother me either way. I'm not afraid of my answers. Are you afraid of what others think?

I am with you there.. My answers are honest in any poll, and it doesn't matter to me if they are public or private.

Both types of polls are nice to have imo. The public polls are often more interesting because you can see how others voted.

If it's a public poll, and I am sensitive to it due to what others may think, then I won't vote. No problem.

I didn't vote because I think it depends on the nature of the poll.

Do you like chocolate or vanilla can certainly be public.

Would you cheat on your spouse given the opportunity is another matter.

I'm not ashamed of my answers, but I prefer private so people have to vote to see the %.

I prefer private as we have had polls in the past which were of a more private nature, or were information I wasn't comfortable sharing my answer for whatever reason.

I seldom vote in any polls, but often comment, if it arouses my interest. Often, I do not like the wording or options offered, so do this to be more or less consistent in my responses.

BTW, the word in the thread title, and inyour post, is spelled "private", not 'privite'.
