    I take it to mean general knowledge books. I read all kinds of history, math and science books. Right now it is Four laws that drive the universe by Peter Atkins

    I've just finished a Murder Mystery novel. It's called "Sovereign", a murder mystery set in the time of Henry the 8th. Written by C.J Sansom, who did a degree in history, specializing in this period.
    A book I would highly recommend not only for its entertainment, but for its historical accuracy. The historical notes at the end of the book are a real eye opener ! It means the legitamacy of the British Royal family is in serious doubt.

    Cactus Eaters by Dan White

    The true story of Dan White and his significant other, at that time, hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. It is amazing they lived through the hike. Both were hiking novices and the PCT is not for those who do not know what they are doing. Some descriptions of the adventure are very funny.
