I believe that no one should be allowed in a swimming pool unless at a minimum they are wearing a nose plug!

Wonder how Americans would react, if that were the policy in the USA?

Yep, it's sad that Muslims are nearly the sole voice for modesty in public places.

I know someone who took his family swimming at the beach. He and his sons wore long pants and loose fitting shirts. His wife and daughter wore long dresses. He bragged about how modest they had been.

I mentioned the difficultly of swimming in loose clothes, and the hazzards of ocean currents. He didn't care about danger to his family, as long as he could very publlicly show off his "modesty".

Personally, I do not care if I ever see another beach or swimming pool. Having grown up on a coast, and spent some time in the Navy, I like to travel to deserts and mountains.

What gets me more than the temptation that may cross a mind when seeing someone in a skimpy swimming outfit, is the dried up old looking prunes wearing a skimpy bathing suit. They think their body looks good. It ought to be against the law to display some of these masterpieces. Now, which do I want to deal with, dismissing a tempting thought if someone who looks decent passes by in a small bathing suit, or dealing with throwing up if a dried up old prune passes by in his leopard skin tight thong?

So, is this modest enough?

I doubt the verity of this report.

You have a good point there. Muslims, evil as they are, know what modesty is. Now, I would not want to live in a society where every woman was wearing a face mask, but we could moderate our dress, especially as Christians.

It starts in the home. Parents have control over what their kids wear until they are 18, and this is where I see the breakdown. Now, after they are adults, they are going to do what they are going to do. Parents of today dress their kids in these skimpy outfits before the kids even are aware of what is going on in this area. Parents let their kids watch commericals programmed for the same type of thinking, filthy TV shows, movies, internet etc, so what do you expect the final product to be after 18?

It is bad enough we are born with a sin nature. It gets much, much worse when children are taught to nurture that sin nature into every area of their lives. Some people were just not meant to be parents.

Welcome to Central Texas. Please forgive the expansive beaches that once were water-lapped shores.
Yes, it's modest enough. And for all those whose lively-hoods depend on the water, fishing, fishing equipment, bait, boats, water-craft rentals, etc., please find a smiley where you turn out bloody when you hit the sand below the bridge. Thanks for demeaning our problem here in Central Texas and showing the world your Christian attitude towards us. We really appreciate the fact that you think it's funny that we are losing money and our lively-hoods here. Keep up the good work! Your friend, Bob. P.S. Whenever you get a chance, let me show you the deeper holes around the Colorado river. You ought to get a kick jumping off the bridges there.
