Might as well tell it as I see it for now: Time may change both observation, experience, and opinion...... as I see what happens:

The 'tea party' movement should be very CAREFUL, and its individual members very watchful, because there may be wolves dressed in sheeps clothing, sneeking in unawares.

As much as I like Sarah Palin, for example, she is proving herself both to be politically ambitious, but not very astute.... when she is supporting a RINO like Gov. Perry of Texas, against a constitutionalist like Deborah Medina...... When the Tea Party, which is made up mostly of grass roots people of mixed demographics but conservative in values and many of modest means, can't get a speaker like Sarah Palin to speak without paying her her price of $100,000/ per engagement.... or offering attendance to a crowd for less than $500/ per head..... something is wrong with this picture, especially to call it a 'fund raiser'. And the TN republican party is ostracizing Dr. Rand Paul, but Palin endorses him. (Where are you ........you so called dyded in the wool die hard 'CONSERVATIVE' Republicans?????????...... Stop cancelling out every guy with 'Paul' for a last name) And she is helping McCain (conservative McCain?????????? .......... the same McCain who is co sponsoring a bill with a Democrat to restrict our access to minerals, herbs, supplements and put control into the hands of doctors, pharma, and the FDA..... yes..... the McCain who believes the same FDA who causes untold farmers to loose whole tomatoe crops due to ecoli... and can't even keep bad drugs or guard bad science promotions...... or prevent China's tainted meds from our hospitals and markets is capable of doing more and restricting US) in his rebid for his Senate Seat, dispite conservative opposition. Sarah Palin..... where's your head? Don't you know he and his Party-Pals are the ones who betrayed you and you were used by them just hoping for a shoe in: Afterwards..... he'd dumped you ....in all but name. You owe HIM nothing.... that is NO-----THING with a capital N!

I'm not presenting this as against her or for her.... but as a case in point concerning just how mixed up are even those who we think might represent us, actually are concerning their own knowledge of what they are doing, and for whom, and for what outcomes. Clearly, the echelon in the Republican Party, will NOT support Palin, but they will use her and make a pretense of supporting her to create a spoiler influence into the politics of the states in this coming primary season. Republicans should be looking for the most conservative, constitutionalist or state-rights candidates they can find. Anything such a candidate is not can be changed by the people if we can just get leaders who will bring the power back closer to the people so the people can control the choices of their elected representatives.

The same thing happened (spoiling election) in California when the Constitution Party candidate across the nation ran Chuck Baldwin, but the California ballot allowed the conservative but globalist spoiler, Allen Keyes to run on their Presidential Slate. I like Allen and have voted for him in primaries.... He's believes in God and in Jesus, takes an anti abortion stand, is Catholic, but he is also a globalist which means he supports and trusts the UN...... which is one of our major major problems as much of our changes in law and policies are really a deferring to its agenda to bring in a single world government and our government is bankrolling its progress!

It is important to remember that as conservatives and as Christians, just where our principals lie; But it is also important for us to realize that in politics, our present state of affairs did not happen overnight..... but was graduated in changes which occurred all the while we voted 'for the best' in the choices we were presented without holding them accountable for promises they made to us and then quickly broke, and the biggest area of control that we lost.... was while we got distracted by 'minors' which appeared as 'majors' because of the importance of our values....... the main ones which was necessary to retain or recover those required that we keep close reign on our individual rights and keep government strength and effectiveness close within our own control such as election districts or states instead of allowing Federal intrusion.

This coming primary season and the elections which follow, will not be about two parties and the puppets which they prefer, but will be about voter dissatisfaction with the 'chosen' and a revolt which either places conservative and constitutional 'less knowns' on the Party ballots of democrats and republicans or offers a revolt against both parties in preference for the Independant slate.... who ever may be on it.

In which case, while we may have various divisions and goals related to issues like abortion, or gay marriages, or for or against the war....... for or against various kinds of health care reform, we may have to temporarily subdue these issues to succeed at the one goal, getting government, laws, budgets, and taxes, closer to the control of the people ..... by focusing on return of control and responsibility to the states and local people. We must realize that by voting only for those who do understand and will herald this constitutional necessity must precedent before any real change can occur in reducing Federal influence and increasing voter's representation.

    Wonder what others are thinking?

For sake of brevity I will just say that I think the "wolves in sheep's clothing" occupy every corner of the three branches of our federal government less perhaps only a few meek strays.

I don't know if I am in the minority or the majority, but I think Palin is a joke and should be completely ostracized from politics. Call me what you will but she would be about as bad as the unmentionable squatting at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in D.C.

I am more than fed up with all the partisanship and BS going on. Both sides are completely ridiculous in the way they have conducted themselves with each one having more than s fair share of skeletons in the closet, as well as quite a few out of it.

With that said, I am more than a little skeptical of all the "Tea Party" this and "Constitutional Party" that. I haven't seen much that would cause me to throw my support behind any of them. I am as conservative as they come but have yet to see any part or anyone with the conjones to stand for it. Some of them talk big, but they don't have anything to back it up.

As it stands I vote Republican (or Independent if the candidate has enough backbone). I do not vote bind and I have abstained from voting in some (local) races because there was not a single candidate that I could vote for and still be able to look myself in the eye. It seems our choices are getting fewer and fewer as both sides begin to blend in the way they campaign... but both are so extreme that it is beyond comical.

Honestly, I miss Reagan. At least he wasn't so worried about appearances or popularity that he would not act... or so obsessed with a pet policy that he would jeopardize the entire nation to push it through.

    Beware the media brainwashing too.

Right now they're trying to paint anyone and everyone who disagrees with the government as potential terrorists.

    Here's but one example.

The question many are asking and will continue ask even if it is conclusively answered is still this – was John Bedell’s fortunately non-fatal (unless he dies from his wounds) attempt to shoot his way into the Pentagon the act of a crazy man or the act of a semi-sane man working from an extreme ideology? If the same Bedell was a committed libertarian devoted in part to legalizing marijuana and in full to reducing government control over our lives, he might be a “teabagger” ideologically-speaking, for the Tea Party movement has sought to bring both libertarians and extremely conservative Republicans into the fold. But Bedell possibly having a teabagger attitude towards the government may not in the end be to blame for his alleged, attempted rampage. It may just be that he was nuts all along.

Translation. If you're a "teabagger" you're probably a terrorist too..and some still wonder why we need to keep renewing the patriot act(s).

But that's today. Tomorrow we could be terrorists for discussing the tea party movement.

What I find amazing about some of these reports is their similarity:
A person acting out of character.
A person committing a violent act in a stoic manner..... more like they are under the influence of drugs or hypnotic suggestion.
Either dismissal of persons accompaniening them (the Detroit bomber) or a failure to see if are witness to an escort or possible 'handler'.
A posting or 'manifesto' almost immediately discovered by officials.
Some kind of intimate information released which tends to indicate some prior awarenesss of officials.
Frequently a prior history of psychiactric and psychotropic medication.
The serious nature of the attempt in contrast to the opportunity and success. (In this case.... all targets received grazing wounds although the proximity was 'point blank range' which couldn't be understood as more than a few feet of distance.)
    Effective silencing of the perp.
The quick association made with a politically dissenting posistion.
    A type of manchurian candidate?

Usually violence of this sort is driven by anger and frustration...... as in the Texas tax pilot...... and there's emotion in the deed.

If people doubt the power of suggestion........

Just watch how these loose associations with political dissent gets picked up with increasing frequency to cast suspiscion on more and more people. George Bush did the same thing when he equated that those who dissent with his determination to go to war in Iraq was 'either your with us or you're siding with the terrorist'.

He died. Thats to be expected when one gets shot in the head.

He definately had a screw loose somewhere.

Teaparty..... I thought was tax and spending..... conservative and constitution.

Guess, when it comes to political dissent..... one size doesn't fit.... but still it catches all the trash excuses.

Now we are the terrorists if we disagree with the government and it's lapdog media. Look how Rick Perry and Glenn Beck went after Medina. It's as if having a libertarian pov or upholding the U.S. constitution is a criminal (as in terrorist) act these days.

If you aren't for big government and globalism and handing out trillions in tax dollars to crooked banksters and corporitos that bankrupt the companies they run and ruin our economy through debt and inflation (as in devaluing our fiat currency) then you must be a crazy nut job bent on violence and destruction.

People should by now be able to see right through all of this stuff but instead they're too busy arguing about which corupt bought and paid for globalist politician is worth supporting and voting for.

    Now that, imho is nuts!

It's happening. We weren't sure how, when, or where it would happen, but it is. What exactly is "it"? Allow me a few moments to explain.

With the 2010 elections on the horizon, I'm seeing a lot more people involved in the process this time around. I post comments in a number of different sites and the conclusion is becoming overwhelmingly similar. People no longer trusting either the Republicans or Democrats and are seeking alternatives.

I'm not going to criticize the Tea Party movement, since that was the beginning of all of this. What the Tea Parties allowed was for people to go gather peacefully into the streets, as to protest this ever growing, intrusive, overtaxing, spend happy, self-serving government. Republicans and Democrats were instrumental in creating policies and global agreements that sent the majority of the United States middle class jobs overseas. I truly believe that people woke up when they noticed it was their jobs leaving, which have yet to show a sign of returning to our shores. The Tea Parties represented righteous anger, but displayed by peaceful means. The Obama Joker posters were a great example of that.

The Democrats were smug in thinking that they didn't have to pay attention to the Tea Parties. The Republicans, battered from the 2008 elections saw it as an opportunity to snag people to "their side". So, as in any war tactic, the Republicans infiltrated the Tea Party, via all the (Glenn) Beckkies. (In a future posting, I plan to talk about neo-libertarianism, which is exemplified by Glenn Beck.)

    <snip>

The Republicans and Democrats are nothing more than Coke and Pepsi in the political world. Most people think they need to choose one or the other, instead of asking if there's anything else. A third party is the "anything else". Having voted for Constitution Party candidates in the last two Presidential elections, I can assure you that my decision was not Coke or Pepsi, but clear, natural spring water, which was refreshing and satisfying. Are you following me? People want something refreshing that is transparent, not more of the choice of damaging, murky, sugar water.

What does all of this have to do with the title of this posting? The Republicans and Democrats are arriving at the understanding that people are longing and opting for the spring water. And, they are scared. They are scared to death to lose their amalgamated power grip on its electorate, with all the money and perks their positions hold.

    CONTINUE . . .

The American Constitution was designed for a 2 party (max) system. A one party system would be "constitutional." The only minority party victory gave us Lincoln's War and the 3rd American Revolution.

And one main, and possible the only reason that Lincoln won was because the Democrat vote was split between 3 candidates. (1860 election)

    Recap Lincoln - R 180 electoral votes
    Breckinridge-SD 72
    John Bell -CU 39
    Stephen Dogulas -ND 12

If Breckinridge and Douglas, both as Democrats agreed to endorse on or the other, its interesting how history could have been changed.

Wouln't it be great if we actually had a two party system? As it is all we have now is one corporate globalist party bickering about how best to rob the taxpayer and bankrupt the nation.

The republican party was red way back then.

Was Abraham Lincoln influenced by communism when the Union condemned the rights of Southern states to express their independence?

    It’s shocking to think so.

But that’s precisely what Walter D. Kennedy and Al Benson Jr. assert in Red Republicans and Lincoln’s Marxists. The pair completely reassess this tumultuous time in American history, exposing the “politically correct” view of the War for Southern Independence as nothing less than the same observation announced by Marx himself. During the American Civil War, Marx wrote about his support of the Union Army, the Republican Party, and Lincoln himself. In fact, he named the president as “the single-minded son of the working class.” In addition to shedding light on this little-known part of our history, Kennedy and Benson also ask pertinent questions about the validity of today’s federal government and why its role seems so much larger than the liberty found in the states it represents.

Red Republicans and Lincoln’s Marxists is a bold undertaking, but it’s one that needs our immediate and absolute attention.

    Where did you get that?

    The Constitution is beautifully party-less
