Does anyone have a cat that is trained to use the toilet?

I walked in on my cat the other day, and she was using the potty in the toilet. I was flabbergasted.

[IMG] No way! Why did she do it? How did she keep from falling in? [IMG]

I don't believe any of my cats have aquired the ability to use the toilet. Since I have both a male and female cat I'll make sure the male leaves the seat up. That seems to be the problem around here.. Anyway thats what the females always scream about... Brother Glen [IMG]

I don't have the foggiest how she started doing that. Sometimes she drinks from it.. . but I think it might be because I don't care for her litter box like I should.

SaggyWoman, your cat probably was watching CNN. They had a program recently about training cats to do that, and they have shown cats actually doing it. Your cat must be a quick study! [IMG]

My cat drinks from the toilet sometimes. He also eats non-stop. He's not a large cat, but when he walks, he looks pregnant. Other than that, he's pretty normal. Oh yeah-he likes to play chase, and he loves Broccoli Cheese soup.

We used to have a Siamese cat, a real lady, who used the toilet. She balanced herself on the seat. I thought it was because the kitty litter wasn't changed often enough for her. But when we moved, the toilet seat was a different shape on top - more rounded - she quit using it. The only thing we can think of is that she couldn't balance as well on the new seat.

I want to apologize to all the women on the board for my uncouth remark. When I put my brain in gear I inserted my foot in my mouth! My wife wasn't happy either... P-l-e-a-s-e forgive me!... Brother Glen [IMG]

This and snails that eat fish... is the BB spinning out of control... going to the dogs, er cats.... er, snails?

We had a cat once born with no eyeballs. Seriously. Wonderful things, those mutations. Anyway Rascal used to sit on top of the sofa and wait to hear one of the dogs passing there and then jump on them. The dogs were never thrilled...

She got furious when we changed the kitchen flooring because her sense of 'squares' was no longer there. It took her awhile to get used to it.

Chris, our retarded son, used to pick her up and put her on the fence to her her yowl. She had no idea how to get down. We had her for years, though. Managed to rescue her everytime.

And she litter trained quite easily. The toilet sounds made her panic, though. I think she is the only cat I'll ever miss. The others we have had (and I refuse to have more) have been destruction derbies on four legs!

Of all the people in my house, my cat is my favorite. ;)
Just kidding. But, since I'm a single girl, It's nice to have someone wake me up with kisses every morning. I also love that purr. I think that Purring is the most Contented sound in the world.
If I ever have another cat, I want two of them, and I'm going to name them Cookies and Milk. (not Tigger. I don't think I could bear to have another Tigger after this one.) :D

A cat with no eyes...! That is about the coolest cat story I have ever heard.

My cat survived being hit by a car at just 3 months old. He is now 12. Years. He is a big fat lazy slob, & I love him. After being hit, the bone in his back right leg never healed quite right. He hobbles around, when I have company, and plays up the sympathy card really convincingly. But last summer you should have seen him chasing a moth, jumping around, knocking over my CD rack. Also, I can't have a christmas tree, or any plants for that matter. I swear he can digest anything.
