Whom do you see picking up enough votes in Senate to take control or maintain control?

The defeat of Harry Reid will damage his control of Mormonism in Salt Lake City. Harry Reid was always the ugly face of Mormonism and he represented Mormon power in the Democrat political party. Although Reid has a lot of money, he seems short on ethics and brains so that he is unfit to take over the cult in Utah. His fall will be permanent.

Actually, Reid did the Democrats a great disservice with his constant accusations. People out west might remember Mike Mansfield, a sharp contrast to Reid.

The GOP should be able to take control.

I believe you are correct and, if so, that will create a huge problem for the GOP. It will be interesting to watch the next two years.

It will be a bigger problem for Honest Hillary if the GOP takes control of Congress.

Not really. They'll pass a lot of bills that have been lying around collecting dust...unless democrats filibuster. Even that won't work very well since democrats changed the cloture rules.

Obama's veto pen will get a work out.

What's the problem? That's the way things are supposed to work.

You point out multiple problems they are going to have ... and there are others if they are in the majority.

The GOP may have a small majority but not enough to override an Obama veto. So, as Carpro said, a lot of bills will make it through the Senate but they will be vetoed by Obama. So there will just be more gridlock for the next two years.

Obama has promised that he will act unconstitutionally. He has said that he has a pen and a (Obama)phone so that he will try to sign executive orders such as the abolition of the use of coal and the granting to amnesty to all the terrorists, criminals, and ill people in the USA illegally, making foreign criminals and soldiers and spies now US citizens.

The big question is what will happen to Hillary the Honest because of the gridlock in DC?

If Obeyme grossly oversteps his powers, then he should be arrested. So should ANY President overstepping their Constitutional powers. And the Dummycrats should not have changed cloture rules since maybe....JUST MAYBE the Repugnicans would win back the Senate.

    There are problems either way.

But the biggest problem, no matter who controls Congress, is a lack of leadership in the White house. That won't change. Obama will just become more isolated and mean spirited than he already is.

His lies are already legend... and legion. They will get even worse as he tries to build a legacy on a quicksand foundation, finally going blub blub as he tucks his tail between his legs and slinks away in 2016.:wavey:
