When dark deeds unfold, point the finger in this direction.
    by Tony Cartalucci

This is your real government; they transcend elected administrations, they permeate every political party, and they are responsible for nearly every aspect of the average American and European's way of life. When the "left" is carrying the torch for two "Neo-Con" wars, starting yet another based on the same lies, peddled by the same media outlets that told of Iraqi WMD's, the world has no choice, beyond profound cognitive dissonance, but to realize something is wrong.

What's wrong is a system completely controlled by a corporate-financier oligarchy with financial, media, and industrial empires that span the globe. If we do not change the fact that we are helplessly dependent on these corporations that regulate every aspect of our nation politically, and every aspect of our lives personally, nothing else will ever change.

The following list, however extensive, is by far not all-inclusive. However after these examples, a pattern should become self-evident with the same names and corporations being listed again and again. It should be self-evident to readers of how dangerously pervasive these corporations have become in our daily lives. Finally, it should be self-evident as to how necessary it is to excise these corporations from our lives, our communities, and ultimately our nations, with the utmost expediency.

Uh you do realize this article isn't about WMDs don't you? Most people probably know by now that Saddam got his WMDs from us.

This article is about our real rulers, the global banks and corporations.

Try to focus on "debunking" the "meat" of the article Rev.

I've read it several times. It's not about WMDs.

I realize that some of you here would like to latch onto the smallest detail in order to claim you've "debunked" the whole.

It's an old dishonest trick to try and draw the reader's attention away from all the evidence that can't be debunked. The Rev is becoming famous for using misdirection in this way.

Another name for this trick is Card Stacking: This can also be called Cherry-Picking. The propagandist uses only those facts and details that support their argument. The selected reasons are used to support the conclusion. You will get misled if you do not notice that important details are missing. The worst part of card-stacking is that it can be very difficult to detect if you are not really knowledgeable about the subject. http://www.physics.smu.edu/pseudo/Propaganda/alldevices.html

Just between you and me the Rev isn't very good at it.

No, but "lies" about WMDs is used to set the stage for everything else.

If the stage is wobbly, you have a problem to begin with. Just saying it's not about WMDs won't make it go away. They wrote it. You posted it.

Now, you can't hide from it. But I'm sure you will try.

What were we told? Saddam has "active chemical, biological and nuclear programs".

What did we find instead? Some rusty old warheads buried in the desert.

A far cry from the "active programs" the neocons told us existed, aka the "reason" we had to invade Iraq. The inspectors were right. The neocons were wrong.

Non the less some of you jumped on this "find" as if it verified all the bogus (lies) claims made by the neocons. It doesn't.

Again . . . Card Stacking: This can also be called Cherry-Picking. The propagandist uses only those facts and details that support their argument. The selected reasons are used to support the conclusion. You will get misled if you do not notice that important details are missing. The worst part of card-stacking is that it can be very difficult to detect if you are not really knowledgeable about the subject.

Composition: A logical fallacy wherein an assertion is made about some part that is not true about the whole.

In other words, you and the Rev are using "only those facts and details that support your argument".

"Now, you can't hide from it. But I'm sure you will try"
