    You make a good point and some Christians reject participating in politics on that basis. I do not share their rejection of politics and I vote for candidates that I think will do the best job for my country, my state, my county, my city.

    I believe a christian who is sincere about Christianity, who believes Christianity is important to them will vote first and foremost against anything that is directly against God and scripture, such as abortion and homos*xual marriage/unions. Everything else is concerns of the world. It all depends on where we get our world view, God, or the world itself.
