'09 Fantasy Baseball Draft Lottery

    You know the drill....

    a staple of the leagues the last few years is we conduct a draft lottery. I do a random order, and in that order, the teams pick where they want to draft (first through sixth in this case). This makes it a little more fun and gives you time to plot a strategy instead of waiting to get to the draft time to find out what order Yahoo has given us.

    First up will have til 8:00 Mon night to pick their slot. then the '2nd picker has until 8:00 eastern Tues, and so on, until we all pick our spots. I'm hoping some folks will do theirs very quickly. The quicker we get these selected, the better. I'd like to have the order set Friday, so if #1 can pick theirs tonight, or if we can get a couple in pretty quick, so be it.

    You don't have to wait for an acknowledgement from me. I'm posting the entire order ahead of time, so when you see the person in front of you has picked, go ahead and make your selection.

    The 2009 Draft Lottery order is:

    1. Mountain Dew Kids
    2. Cellar Dwellar
    3. Rocky Top Reds
    4. Ragamuffins
    5. Around the Horn
    6. Sandlot Boys

    Okay...MDK, you're up. Remember, draft is a serpentine draft. Meaning, the order of the odd rounds is reversed for even rounds. Pick first overall, you pick last in the 2nd round, and so on.

    MDK...where would you like to draft?

    WE had technical issues with BaptistBoard last night.

    Ragamuffin, you're on the clock until 9:00 pm eastern tonight. After that time, we'll have to move on. If Ragamuffins make their pick prior to that, then next one up go ahead - I think that's Around The Horn

    If Ragamuffin doesn't choose by tonight or chooses the 5th or 6h pick, then I would like the 4th pick.

    If Ragamuffin chooses the 4th pick, then I would like the 5th pick.

    Ken's "Around the Horn" team is awarded pick #4.

    Steven's "Sandlot" team or Ragamuffins....

    first one to sign in here and pick either the 5th or 6th spot gets that spot and the remaining team gets the remaining spot. First come, first served.
