    What constitutes propitiation?

NKJ Genesis 6:6 And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.

1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Romans 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

Presumably the appeasement of the grief (or wrath if you wish) that God felt towards man had to be dealt with on a world-wide entire race basis before justification is/was a possibility.

    My opinion of course.
