    It's about time!

    From the article:
At the Texas event, Santorum got roughly three-quarters of the 114 votes on the final ballot, where he faced off against former House Speaker Newt Gingrich. Gov. Rick Perry of Texas also received considerable support from the group, Perkins added.

Their next step, after South Carolina, is to meet with Perry and implore him to get out of the race. I bet most of Perry's supporters would jump over to Santorum. Santorum needs the help before going into Florida's primary.

I had a feeling since Gary Bauer had already come out last Sunday with an endorsement for Santorum, but I guess it could have gone differently. Very good news.

Good one OR. Hey that reminds me I've been wanting to ask this for a few days now but been busy. Why you do you republicans let liberals pick your candidates for you?

Y'all probably didn't notice this but CNN (liberal media) pretty much picked Santorum for you in SC. Five days of non stop positive air time for Santorum handed him his "surge" at the polls. I can only image this was done to hurt Ron Paul. Why? Because Santorum ain't the banker's choice and Paul is a threat to their bottom line.

Mitt Romney is the banker's choice. It'd be a waste of airtime for the liberal media to promote Santorum anymore. Ron Paul? He does well enough without any help from you guys or the liberal media.

So, why do you republicans let the liberal media choose your candidates for you?

I'm interested how you can support Santorum, when he isn't a Christian?

It's also interesting that he is a "Knight" of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, which claims to be a sovereign entity. It seems like a major conflict of interest to run for President of the United States while also pledging allegiance to another sovereign entity.

In part some states or commonwealths REQUIRE an open primary.

But I'm confused - are you saying that CNN and other media actually go in the voting booth with you and force you to vote the way they want you too?

I understand your confusion. You don't have the corporate, I mean liberal media with you to do the thinking for you here. Nyuck nyuck.

Amusing thing I noticed the other day on BB. Nobody was talking about Ron Paul's age till the liberal media brought it and looped the coverage several hundred times. Then lo and behold all of a sudden you were all talking about it!

No need for CNN to go into the booth with you, they've made your mind up already by that time.

I listen to various media - I like to get all three sides of a story - get all the facts - then I make up my mind

Yeah and according to you the only "credible" sources come from the mega global corporations, their tv talking heads and their mega global corporate funded think tanks. Make up your own mind? Sure you do Salty, sure you do.

Quick question, if you do your own thinking why do you think like everyone else?

Should we assume that you have the inside track with God or did He simply appoint you judge of all the earth!

Santorum is a Catholic. Specifically he adheres to the teachings of Opus Dei. Catholicism is a heavily works based religion, Opus Dei even more so.

How about addressing the other part of my post, the part about Santorum pledging allegiance to foreign entity?

I agree but that does not mean that God cannot save him!

Can't comment since I am not familiar with that outfit. Roman Catholics are supposedly in bondage to the pope and the teaching magisterium but they are not necessarily obedient slaves!
