    The idea you express here, which I have put in boldface, surely is worthy of a new thread!

    Today is the 29th anniversary of my ordination as a minister of the Gospel. I'm sure it would be impossible for me to determine exactly how many times I've discovered over those years that I was wrong about something. Should I continue drawing breath for another day or two, I expect to learn some more......I view this as an aspect of sanctification.

    I should be genuinely sorrowful if you really believe most ministers are unable to learn, grow, and concomitantly admit that they have been wrong now and then along the way
