You might want to hang on to that woohoo. The poll is pretty much meaningless since they polled registered voters, not likely voters.
Nope. I refuse to let right-wingers curb my enthusiasm about their impending defeat on November 4.
I think we have to let the smoke clear from their convention before we know for sure.
A lady at the store made a good point today, she said there was little enthusiasm or support for McCain in his own party until Palin joined the ticket. This means the enthusiasm is really around her and not him. He will reap the benefits in the poll since she is greatly loved by America.
But hopes based in September polls really can't give you much comfort Ken. You are astute enough to know that.
Only one poll counts and history has proven that.
Don't print your "OBAMA WINS" headlines yet .
Didn't Bush Jr come up an incredible amount of percentage points in like the last two weeks?
How many unregistered voters vote?
It is a milestone
It is always good to be the first to hit this milestone and then work from there, I think this came out Yesterday? and we were 4 days into the Sarah Palin story. Good news as far as i am concerned but I hear you guitar.
The best thing to do with polls is to look at them and then throw them away. Also it is far too early to take them seriously. I fully expect McCain to get a bump up after the Republician convention If a person carried the general election by 8% it would be considered a huge landslide. I will be quite surprised if either candidate wins by that margin.
Enjoy it while it lasts Ken. I hope it fades fast but you deserve to enjoy the moment
Actually the numbers dropped a percent today for Obam and went up one for McCain.
Post all your poll results and follow-ups here.
I've done some personal polling and found that there were too many polling threads on the BB.Thanks for clearing up the clutter Roger.
McCain takes 3 pt lead in Daily Gallop!!!
Reference to this pol thread deleted.
I thought your side in this forum said not to pay any attention to polls.
Good for McCAin but I think Palin should get the credit
Who gets the credit for choosing her?
Ya got me there, McCain all the way...
USA Gallup Poll has McCain Palin 54% and Obama Biden 44% :applause:  raying:
