There are a whole of issues to consider when voting than just the issue of abortion - even for us Christians.

Selection of Palin not helping McCain among white women

And the New York Times/CBS News poll found no evidence, at least to date, that Ms. Palin has allowed Mr. McCain to expand his appeal to women voters or independent voters. Polls taken immediately after the convention had found evidence of a sharp increase in support for Mr. McCain among white women, but this poll suggests that that effect was, so far at least, limited. White women were evenly divided between Mr. McCain and Mr. Obama; before the conventions, Mr. McCain led Mr. Obama among white women, 44 percent to 37 percent.

    Isn't this post off topic?

Do we have to go here in every thread?

It's about the only issue that the anti-Obama/pro-McCain folks can ride. Other than this issue and the homosexual marriage issue Senator McCain is not much of a candidate to vote for.

McCain Climbs Back into a Tie With Obama in Tracking Poll

The latest Gallup poll shows the presidential race tied at 46 percent each for Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and Republican presidential candidate John McCain.

That means McCain gained ground after falling three points behind Obama

    Back and forth...

If it stays this close and continues to see-saw, McCain will stomp Obama.

You are dreaming. It is much more likely that if anyone is stomped it will be John McCain.

No. If you look at the polls in the battleground states they have all swung to Obama in the last week, including Florida.

Perhaps, but a lot of Obama supporters to include the young crowd he attracts don't have landlines. If I were young and single today I would only have a cell phone also.

Hey? How come every time a conservative starts a new thread about a poll, or, someone posts a poll that shows McCain leading, Ken protests and gets the mods to move it to the general thread on polls?
But, Dragonfly, an admitted liberal starts this thread 2 hours ago, and I know Ken has seen it, but he hasnt protested....

Ken? Please dont accuse anyone else on here of being partisan or biased..
