2009 Fantasy Baseball

    Draft time was successfully changed to 2:00 eastern time. I may have to leave early, but so be it.

    I Did not catch this. I have one too many "P" spots in the lineup. That's entirely my fault and I don't know how I missed that. That was not my original intent. I can leave it as is or we can delete one P. What's the verdict? I don't want to change something so critical on the 11th hour, but it was not intended to have 7 potential pitching spots in the lineup. I have no problem leaving it if that's the desire of the group. I know a stat category got changed late last season before the draft and that was an issue.

    This change would not affect the bench players.

    Let me know your thoughts.

    I think we should leave it. With only six teams it would make it more competitive. Also with so few teams sometimes people engage the strategy of dropping and picking up pitchers weekly in order to gain an advantage, this would make that strategy less efficient and more risky to employ.

    I don't think that will stop people from having a revolving door lineup.

    No, but makes it a little more risky when releasing a pitcher when each team has one more slot that they might pick him up. :laugh:
