What is this?-->
The new London 2012 brand
Its sword fighters
Looks like one of those S.A.T. math comprehension puzzles.
an old MTV logo rip-off
and ugly too
It's probably subliminal arabic.
That's an interesting angle. Any chance it's subliminal English?
Convenient excuse for one of my favorite Bush quotes...
"I don't think we need to be subliminable about the differences between our views on prescription drugs." —President George W. Bush, Orlando, Fla., Sept. 12, 2000 (Source: http://politicalhumor.about.com/library/blbushism-subliminable.htm)
Ah yes, everything is about one subject. I think some of you folks who expect a mosque on every corner in Europe would be shocked at the reality of the situation.
The logo is no worse or better than any other Olympic logo. There is no hidden agenda. There is no conspiracy.
How do we know that you are not equally part of the conspiracy?:tongue3:
Yes, Roger, you could be one of ....them...... There's usually a PR/point man to assure the masses that all is well.
Well, if you all could see me when I wear a full bead...
Lets just say I thought it wise to cut back to a goatee
Looks more like Celtic Pagan, anyways.
I dunno, I almost had a siezure just looking at it.
Score another one for your stand up career...well done. :applause:
Thank you, thank you, I'll be here all week. Try the veal!
what abouts it being Chinese of Japanese slang?
James: "I dunno, I almost had a seizure just looking at it."
Rufus: "Score another for your stand up career - well done."
James: "Thank you, thank you, I'll be here all week. Try the veal."
I think both of these boys need to take that whole show on the road.
Here's their new promo poster.

There has been an outcry about it here in the UK. They spent £400,000 (US$800,000) on it, and no one likes it. The Mayor of London has refused to allow it to be displayed in the city, and there are calls by Parliament for it to be scrapped.
What does everyone over there hate about it?
That it's rubbish! I think the main outcry is that it cost so much. There is a move in Parliament for schools to draw a logo and for the public to then pick the one they like most. This involves the public and should cost a lot less than four hundred thousand!
A very poor attempt by very clueless artists to come up with a cool, new, hip, cyber-techo 2012 symbol that kids will indentify with so they can attract more than the faithful 4 people that watch the Olympics. It is basically...
just really stupidly drawn. Nothing mysterious about it. Wish there was more to it. At least the goobs who came up with it would have an excuse other than complete lack of talent. Maybe they were just trying to out do Atlanta's Izzy stupidity?
