Has anyone else started working on your taxes? If so, have you come across any changes?

I'm not done yet (waiting for updated forms for a couple of things since the 1 January tax debacle) but so far it looks like an increase of between $1600 and $2000 for us.

As for the state, Montana does not have sales tax and I usually come close to breaking even on income taxes, maybe a small refund some years. Montana is one of the few states that is weathering the Obama recession in decent shape.

Welcome to the new obama reality. It was just supposed to be the "rich" that pay their fair share, remember? Wait until those with "union" wages get their tax bill!!

Ah, but this is what Americans voted for - a liar - and this is what America has gotten, and there are 4 more years of the liar-in-chief!

We had a 6000 increase in total income, 1000 more in federal tax and 800+ more in state income tax over last years bill.

We actually had a pay cut...and a tax increase.

Well, I'm single, so I owe big bucks every year. I'm collecting my all my stuff right now and probably won't seriously work on it until March.

Just wait next year when the IRS penalties for health insurance kick in.
The poor and young that have been holding off getting insurance will be forced to pay for it or join a government co-op.

We'll hear the Obamites complaining then.
