President Odrama and his ilk will demoralize the troops. Chances are there will be a mass exodus as begins to destroy our military and intelligence capabilities.

Mutiny is always sinister! This is the problem with treason - it spreads like a vile cancer and destroys the country.

This kind of reasoning gives cowards an excuse for endangering their fellow soldiers and by so doing they aid and abet the enemy.

These traitors need to be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

Only a coward blindly follows orders and later says, "but he told me to do it."

Roger, this attitude of yours is wrong, and is the kind of thing that led to My Lai.

    -----

Oklahoma passed a state sovereignty law.

Any historians out there who can give us a run-down of the things that were happening before the Civil War?

You are wrong - we are not talking about disobeying immoral or unjust orders, we are talking about ignoring a commander-in-chief who was duly elected by constitutional process.

Fight that if you want in the courts, but soldiers cannot refuse orders just because they do not think their commander is qualified to lead.

I have no problem with a soldier's right to question immoral commands, but that is no in any regard the question here.

DO you really think the troops in Iraq should now stop obeying orders because of a lawsuit that the Supreme Court of the United States has refused to hear?

He is fighting it in court.

He has not disobeyed any orders.

    What makes you think otherwise?

He is leading a mutiny by questioning the authority of his commander-in-chief. The Supreme Court has already ruled by refusing to hear this case.

Our enemies must be thrilled at this break down in authority just as our true heroes in uniform are about the write 'Mission Accomplished' on the Iraqi mission.

Frivilous and self-serving lawsuit. As Roger has correctly pointed out, SCOTUS has already refused the issue.

Why is this an issue? Why doesn't the Obama camp just send out proof of his birth in the U.S.A. and put an end to it? That's what I'm wondering.

If people have legitimate concerns, put it to rest. Quit with the "this isn't worth our time" <edited - LE> and just prove them wrong and you're done.

Let this guy have his 15 min. of fame and make yet one more irrational plea to the Supreme Court. Do you recognize the authority of the court in this issue?

You have no authority on this issue. You called our troops murderers. You should probably butt out.

And I don't think you recognized the SCOTUS decision to shut Al Gore up in the 2000 election, either.

If the Supreme Court isn't able to take a look at it, who can? Won't somebody just look at it?

If Obama is legit .. which I figure he is .. just put the info they need out there and shut everybody up. The end. Done.
