What do any of Billwald's posts ever have to do with the subject at hand?

It's as if he intentionally diverts any thread away from the OP.

Yes, it is a classic libbie tactic - when you have no answer then divert.

#1 Producers - they work - it is a service industry.

How do they produce wealth. In the three definitions there does not seem room for service industries.

Let's stick with your example of pastors.

Pastors produce wealth for themselves - their salary.

They produce wealth for their church membership in that they (hopefully) improve their moral state. I believe that mature Chrisitians are more honest, hardworking, better stewarts, and more loyal to their employers than the unsaved. A generalization but I believe it to be a correct one.

A hardworking person earns more for themselves and their employers.

A mature Christian does not steal from others or their employer.

Hopefully you understand what I am saying although I am not certain that I stated it especially well.

"Production" would include services, not just material goods.

And Targus does a good job illustrating some examples (I'm sure we could come up with many more).

That is true of those in definition #2 who earn salaries.
You may be right here. Having said that I have not found merchants who advertise in Christian yellow pages particularly honest nor ethical. Maybe that is just true in my area.

    I agree.

I think the definitions are too narrow.

Phinias T. Barnum reveled how circuses and some preachers create wealth, "Sucker born every minute."
