We are part of a hegemony. Our owners are smart enough to stay in the backround Nothing since the Russian Revolution has slowed the flow of assets from the working class to our owners.

If a third party or Independent candidate for President ever ran ahead in the polls during the run up to the general election, watch the Democrats and Republicans become the best of buddies. Together, they control 100% of the political power in this country. If that number was ever threatened, they would both grow fangs to get rid of the threat.

By the way, the numbers are there for a third party to win. It is just enough people voting for them.

I believe if such were to happen, there are enough sincerely driven statesmen and Christians in government to begin changing afiliation, and others who would qualify and run because they saw the nobility of the cause of returning (responsibility of) government to the people, and the (responsibility of) people to God, so there would be enough to make a third party.

We are a REPUBLIC, not a democracy. It is not the rule of the majority that bridles power but the power of minorities to keep our leaders feet to the fire and keep them accountable with oversight, that is the system of checks and balances which makes us a Republic.

Unfortunately, few realize this concept or are willing to have faith that ....as someone puts it 'little is much if God is in it." And God is in everything that brings to light the truth, that dispells the darkness and the cover of hidden deeds, and upholds righteousness and justice. Unfortunately, we are succuming to the world's viewpoint of what is 'justice' and what is right instead of sticking fast to the standards of those documents upon which our nation was founded.

May God inspire more boldness in our people, our pulpits, and our leaders!

You dreamer, you. The USofA is governed by case law and has been ever since the Constitution was ratified. You think you can read the Constitution by yourself? You dreamer, you. Said Chief Justice John Marshall, "The Constitution says what we say it says." It has been "1984" since 1804.

That does not mean things cannot change. A good start is to give the Democratic and Republican parties the same status as the Whig party.
