Most Voters Say Leave My Health Insurance Alone

Health care reform is near the top of the list for incoming President Barack Obama and congressional Democrats, but a majority of U.S. voters (58%) oppose any kind of government-controlled health plan if it means they have to change their own insurance coverage.

It's a good thing Obama didn't propose a single payer system or he may not have been elected. Contrary to all the rumors from the right, Obama has never proposed a socialist health care plan. Hillary's plan came closer to being socialist than Obama and Hillary's plan would have covered far more American's.

How does this set of 51% compare to the 50% of all Americans who carry an average $8000 balance on their credit cards or are they mostly the 50% who are free and clear of non-mortgage debt?

All you out there who will buy Christmas presents on credit? I should respect your opinion on any economic or business related topic?

Debt-free here for years...and I think that government healthcare is a terrible idea.

Why would I want the architects of FEMA, the $700B bailout, the IRS, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and Congress to be in charge of my healthcare?
