It is Christmas Day in many parts of the world now, as we here on the west coast of the United States slip into Christmas Eve. It was hot in Australia today. In New Zealand our daughter went to the beach with her host family for Christmas. Here it was blustery and stormy and chilly. But for all of us who are children of God by adoption through His precious Holy Spirit and because of the life and sacrifice of Jesus Christ, this day is special from the inside out. Our hearts respond with thoughts of thankfulness and awe at what God has done for us. Woodrow Kroll, on the "Back to the Bible" calendar, remarks of Dec. 25, "God didn't invade time to give us Christmas. He invaded time to give us Christ." Amen. And God bless you, every one.
