God bless you and yours in this hour of heavy burden and deep bereavement. Behind every dark cloud is a silver lining... :praying:

Carl, Wesley,Rachel and Baptistteacher, my prayers are with you!
I only `knew` Gayla through BB and found her to be indeed a lovely lady; faithful to The Lord , and an example and encouragement to us all.

Thanks for the prayers everyone. It was one week ago that we buried my sister, and healing has begun in my heart. I have had an extremely busy week, and I guess that has helped.

"I know not what the future holds,
but I know Who holds the future."

For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: 26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:
27 Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.
    (Job 19:26-27)

I on the other hand could have used a busier week.:tear: I keep flashing back to the day she went.:BangHead: I know God will help me through in time, but right now I'd give almost anything for this incredible pain in my heart to go away...:praying:
For those who had followed the caringbridge journals (http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/pinkyreeny) I'm not entering anymore there for obvious reasons. It was about her and she's gone now, so the reason for that site is no more. My family seems to think I have a thing for writing and has encouraged me to start a blog of my own. Don't know how far this blog might go, but if anyone is curious how things are going, the address is:
http://arockslowinforming.blogspot.com :type: Thank you again for the prayers and support.

While I haven't met you or your wife, it is with great anticipation that I look forward to meeting you both someday! Your family will remain in my prayers. God WILL give you the grace to cope, for when we are the weakest, His strength is made manifest through us. :godisgood:

As someone who lost a sister a few years ago (she was 25), my heart goes out to you. It is in no way, shape or form a goodbye...but "see ya later" :)
