Does this mean what I think it means Ken? It only took you 19 minutes to make up your mind about the evidence presented in a video almost 47 minutes long?

I didn't watch the whole thing. There's really nothing that can be presented that can convince me that man didn't go to the moon. Think of all the thousands of people who would have had to have known if it was truly a conspiracy. Yet not a one of them has ever, not even on his death bed, admitted to such.

I knew you would not let me down pancho. Do you live alone? If not how do you know your family members are not part of the conspiracy?

Seriously, everything can't be a conspiracy. Or can it???

Had you watched the whole video that question might have been answered. Think of all the thousands of people involved in the Manhatten project, how did they keep that a secret for as long as they did? Compartmentalization for one, non disclosure agreements with the threat of being tried as a traitor or shot as one. There are lots of reasons people will keep quite Ken even today the government puts gag orders on people that might have information that may incriminate people in government Sibel Edmunds comes to mind. Then there's always intimidation, and Arkanside. I shouldn't have to remind you of all that. How did the mafia stay a secret for as long as it did?

Why are people still guessing about the Israeli attack on the U.S.S Liberty? Why aren't the sailors and captian talking after so many years? Why do people still deny that the CIA routinely used false flag operations and fake terror campaigns in other countries when the CIA have openly bragged about it in their own documents and it has been widely reported in the press? Why do people still believe our government is incapable or would never do anything like that on American soil when their own documents show they planned at least one such operation and that too has been widely reported?

Look at the JFK assasination add all the public polls together and it looks like over 90% of the people think he was killed by a conspiracy of high placed "officials" or some such thing besides the "lone shooter theory" but the lamestream media continues to act as if only a very few nutcases believe such nonsense.

So why haven't the Russians put a man on the moon and brought him back safely to earth? They must have the capability by now I mean we were the ones playing catch up to their space program. You'd think they wouldn't have wanted to let us get ahead of them without a moonshot of their own. Why haven't we done a joint mission to the moon with the Russians? Is the international space station as high as they dare go now?

I got a million more questions to ask but first have you got some answers for the ones I've asked already? I'd really like to read them if any of you do, Cisco says he would like to see some answers too.

How do I know you aren't? How long did my ex wife keep it secret from me that she was seeing another man for as long as she did? It's been almost twenty years and still don't know how she did it in a town of only 2500 people. Oh a bunch of them came forward and told me after I found out (by her telling me about it all) but none of my "friends" would even tell me what they had witnessed before hand. They all had alot of stories to tell me later though. Why did my "friends" keep quite for so long?

    1) Having heard the competing views I am convinced that Oswald was the only shooter.

    2) They are even broker than we are. And after we went to the moon and back so many times it became rather bland to the public. Now if we had immediately set our sights on Mars then I think that public support could have been sustained.

Then you seem to be in the minority.

We aren't talking about now were talking of the time during the space race. Yeah we can only go to the moon and back so many times before it becomes common place and people lose interest I guess. So how did they manage to get through the effects of radiation from those huge belts of radiation up there anyway? Why haven't we gone through them since? Was that ever explained I don't remember.

Okay, now can you explain why there are intersecting shadows in the photos "taken on the moon" if there was only the sun as a light source? Is there something special that happens to light on the moon?

If there is no atmosphere on the moon how do you explain the flag waving around like it was wind blown? Why is that when the footage of the astronauts walkng on the moon (jumping) is played in fast forward it looks just like they are skipping on the earth? Why would they fake film footage of themselves faking film footage? Why haven't those astronauts that first went to the moon done thousands of interviews? Seems like they would all jump at the chance. National security concerns? The whole planet "knows" we went to the moon and back. Are they afraid the Russians might learn some secrets if they talk about their adventures in front of a camera?

I haven't been counting my questions but your answers seem to be around three so far. Maybe I should take a break and let you catch up some.

    That's never bothered me. :)

Look if you want to believe that going to the moon was a conspiracy go ahead.

How do we know that it's not a conspiracy that you are on this board doling out conspiracy theories to throw us all off track about the conspiracy that you are part of a conspiracy to post conspiracy theories on this board? Eh?

The radiation in the Van Allen belts is not so intense as to be fatal to the astronauts. The launches were timed to minimize exposure to the radiation so that the net effect of the passage was similar to getting a few X-rays.

While the sun was the only light source, the sun's light is reflected off the surface of the moon (that's why we can see it in the sky at night), from the LEM, and from other equipment, including their space suits.

Since there is no atmosphere, the sun's rays are very intense and the reflective coatings on the LEM and space suits can be very brilliant.

    It didn't wave around.

The flag was supported by a wire frame. Frankly, that's one of the dumbest "proofs" that the conspiracy theorists throw around. Even as a four-year-old kid watching the moon landing, I knew about the wire support for the flag. If you look at photos taken in close sequence from approximately the same position, you can see that the flag is not moving. Furthermore, the video footage makes it abundantly clear.

Because there is some gravity on the moon. It is about 1/6 of earth's if I remember correctly. By the way, did you do this yourself or did you actually obtain footage of the astronauts on the moon and look for yourself? I would be strongly suspicious of the ignorant paranoids who told you the flag was waving if I were you.

Hmmm, I've had a few xrays but I don't recall seeing shooting stars when my eyes were closed during any of them.

The suns rays reflect off the earth and there are many shiney things here as well but I haven't seen any intersecting shadows in photos taken on the earth with the sun as the only light source.

    See above.

You didn't even bother to watch the video did you?

    See above.

Ignorant paranoids? Now there is statement backed up by solid scientific evidence if ever I saw one.

You got any links to information that back up your conclusions btw?

I gotta go with the best available evidence I can find Ken, taking the word of a government that has a proven track record of lying to us without asking questions doesn't fit the description of gathering evidence as I know it. That sounds more like complicity than seeking the truth to me.

I guess reading the actual government documents and papers that I have so "liberally" linked too in the past two plus years has never crossed your mind eh? I guess it's easier to dodge the questions altogether or pretend to debunk the whole arguement by only answering to the weakest part of the arguement or name calling, yeah that always wins a debate.

This kind of evasion tactic is beneath your abilities anyway mi amigo. I know, I've read hundreds of your posts, yer alot smarter than that.

Maybe I just ask more questions than an American is expected or allowed to ask of his government is that part of the problem here?

I think a bigger conspiracy would be is the rover really on Mars since Mars is further away from the Earth than the moon? If they can take the shuttle to the space station on numerous trips, why couldn't they have gone to the moon?

Anybody ever been to the NASA Space Center in Huntsville, Alabama? It's a neat place to visit and very interesting. Haven't been there for a few years.

    Okay, I have now.

    I was even less impressed.

They made all sorts of unsubstantiated assertions such as, "Since it was impossible to catch up to the Russians in the space race..."

That's nonsense for a multitude of reasons.

    Sure:

It's not designed for the trip.

It might be possible if they added extra fuel capacity and some sort of LEM in the cargo hold, but I'm guessing that there are far more techical reasons, which might actually include (in this instance) the lack of radiation protection in the orbiter.

Thanks for the links I looked them over. I'm having trouble finding the scientifc stuff on these sites though, so far the arguement seems to be the same "anyone that thinks we didn't go to the moon is a conspiracy theorist" arguement.

That's like Popular Mechanics saying they completely debunked the 911 "conspiracy theory" by hiring Michael Chertof's 20 something year old "expert" cousin and giving a page of banners instead of references isn't it?
