Humans have sin natures, and so are bound and restrained, limited by that fact, so that unaided by God, they cannot 'freely choose" to do certain things by their own wills, such as coming to jesus to get saved!

 

mankind is a sinful being, and his will had been tainted by effects of the fall, NOT free to choose anything, but still free to choose what he can consistent to his sin nature!

God can impose his will upon his creation, even upon humans, such as when he made Paul an Apostle, by channging paul will and views upon jesus, correct?

 

Seems to me that if Jesus Christ died to save all then he likely failed since it appears that not all are saved. Of course God may decide otherwise.

The only alternative is that Jesus Christ died to save some. What shall we call it? I have heard it called "Limited Atonement" and "Definite Atonement". There may be other expressions. Definite Atonement seems to be the more correct way of defining the nature of His Atonement!

 

or one could hold to as it being as Ionce did, as jesus died for all sinners, but only those who God enabled to come to Him would be befefitting from his death!
