It has been a real pleasure to be a part of this Political Forum this past year. Throughout this year I have engaged in active social discourse in regard to who would be the better POTUS. All of us have shared and expressed the best and worst of our personal opinions when it came to McCain and Obama.

There have been some tough words from both sides of the aisle, but, in the end, we have exercised and enjoyed the right of free speech as well as the blessing of verbalizing our Christian fellowship toward one another. True, sometimes, we expressed words that were not the best of our good side, and we had to repent, but, we expressed our hearts and souls as to our support of one candidate, or another!

With that said; I want to take this time to wish each of you a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous, Happy, and Healthy 2009.

Throughout the process of debating you folks during this 2008 Presidential campaign, I have come to better understand that the differences that separate us politically, could NEVER separate us in Christ. :1_grouphug:

Shalom, and His Blessings for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,

    Pastor Paul

Merry Christmas to you and your family. Yes the debate got heated at times. It is still my belief that the real division is between those ideals of the original Founding Fathers, the Declaration of Independence, the US Constitution, on one side, and on the other, the two major parties that are arrayed against the American people making it a socialist state. I think the greatest damage was to magnify the differences of the Democrats and Republicans.

May God bless you and your family greatly in 2009, and thanks for your civil posts.

I couldn't have expressed it better myself unless it was to add to this mix..... that I'm a fundamental literalist who prefers the KJV over other translations and add to that a stubborn streak..... and we've had quite a time of it.

Merry Christmas and may God prosper you and yours, brother Paul.

and the same to all the members of this board and particularly this forum :wavey:
