A scary blessing..

Hrm.. I guess this is the place to post this!

I attend a small church.. about a year ago, we had no more than 60 people on any Sunday, Christmas and Easter included, but God's blessing has really been on our church, and it's growing by leaps and bounds. Now we have at least 100, and usually around 120-150 people each Sunday.

Anyway, our pastor has decided that right before school starts, mid-August, we're going to have a conference for the youth, mainly just for our church, but visitors welcome, of course.

During the day, it'll be split up for different ages (Jr. High/HS), and sexes, and during the evening, the entire group will come together.

I've been asked to speak to the girls during one of the split sessions, and that's scary!!

There's girls that are a year younger than me, some only 6 months or so younger than me.. I love working with the older groups, but I'm kinda worried that they won't listen to me, etc, because until January, I went to school with a lot of them..

So will y'all please pray that God will give me something to teach to them, and that they will listen, and.. that I won't be nervous.

I'm thinking of teaching on being a "comfortable Christian".. about how after God blesses you, it's easy to fall into sin..

i.e., Noah and Ham, Lot and his daughters, David, etc.

Not sure yet, though.
