As some of you may know, I'm moving with my family across the country (make that waaaaaayyyy across the country!) to the new Ave Maria University in Florida, where my wife is going to teach and help them build their sacred music program.

Anyway, we've had a number of our Christian friends (all stripes, mostly non-Catholic) pitching in and helping us pack, or taking our kids out to get them out of the way, or making us meals for after our cookware et. al. heads out on the truck. It won't make the front page in any newspaper, but these people are putting themselves out in love and charity, and we are very grateful for their help. It's a reminder for me that all good flows from God, and much of it flows through people who take the Way of Christ seriously.

Thanks and Blessings to them all! [IMG]

    Mike,

I am so excited for y'all. Be sure to say hi to my cousin Michelle Hillaert and her husband Trent who is the director of student life at AMU.

    MikeS,

That's a touching revelation you've shared. I also see such things happening between those of various denominations. It makes us realize the reality of One God, One Faith, One baptism.

It's called Love and it knows no bounds.

    Thanks,
    Singer

    Hey Carson!

If you ever get a doctorate, also some teaching qualifications, you could could come down to "God's Country" (Florida, where else?) and gain some tenure there! (This school is in the Tampa area) [IMG]

Oh, and on your way down, you could stop over in New Orleans and check-out the semenary there! (Pulling your leg, of course!) [IMG]

Then pull over in Pensacola, give me a phone call, and I'll buy lunch! I sure would love to meet you, my friend! [IMG]

EDIT: Oops, I almost forgot, Mike, if you pass through Pensacola, give me a call! (Contact me via private E-mail for the number) and I will likwise buy lunch, all the family in fact! [IMG]

    Oh, and drive carefully!

    God bless,

    PAX

    Thanks Bill,

    Yeah, I'm doing fine.

Hey....I got a confirmation from my Catholic friend who is an assistant something-or-other to the local Priest here that she'll lead prayer at our Gospel Music function in April. She's such a character and really displays the love of Christ. She fits in well with our mixed-breed Christianity that involves 7 denominations at the present time. She gave me other contacts for possible performances and then she said "But they'll all be Catholics". I said "That's okay, God loves Catholics too". [IMG]

She claims she can't sing and we got her to sing along with my wife once........

    SHE WAS RIGHT !! [IMG]

    Stay well,
    Singer

Thanks, Bill, but you don't know the half of it! We're flying out. To be specific, we're flying out with 4 dogs, 3 birds and 2 hamsters!
