:laugh: You been watching too many Bugs Bunny cartoons, Jim!!!:laugh:

Makes me think of an old saw my Mom uses when she had a hard time getting out of bed - "I was so tired I had to get behind myself and push to get up this morning!"

Yes, I meant signing. I have been in the first deaf church in Canada in Toronto which was started by a football player. They have both a verbal and signed service combined. There is no pulpit.

These days they use the screen for a number of things. Some people were just hearing impaired and not deaf, so the church had hearing aids in the pews as well.

It was a very interesting experience. I learned to sign a little, but never got enough experience to fully communicate with anyone....just privately. I did learn there was a difference between signing in England and signing in Canada...we use American sign in Canada.

In my Kingston church, we had a full pew near the front with hearing equipment and we got quite a few hearing impaired parishioners who didn't go to church before.

    Cheers, and bless,

    Jim

When I was in college, my speech teacher videotaped our speeches and we had to watch them. It was very revealing! After that, we were more conscious of how we presented ourselves.
