Holding unto a grudge is like letting someone live rent-free in your heart, head and soul. In Jesus's name, it is time to EVICT those grudges to free up the space in your heart, head and soul that Satan's freeloaders inhabit.

Christ talks about being angry against one's neighbor, and how that prolonged could be compared to murder. Also, I believe there is a reference to refraining from taking the Lord's Supper if angry with a brother. Aside it being a sin against God, it harms ones physical and emotional health.

As the Bible says, is one has a quarrel with another, don't walk, but run to settle it. If one tries and is still rejected, Scripture says "get along with all as well as one can."
