I am a Spanish teacher, and yesterday, my 8th graders were doing an exercise answering questions using quantities. The question was, "How many cassettes do you have?" One girl raised her hand and asked me, "What's a cassette?"
I know this generation has grown up with different things than I did, but I want to know -
    1) Do you have cassettes?
    2) Ever seen a circular dial on a phone?
    3) Ever seen a bag car phone?
    4) Do you remember/know about the first Gulf War?

I love being around kids! Yall are awesome. [IMG]

I think the last cassette I remember having was Ace of Base... since then ive had CD's or even now my I-pod. I dont think ive ever called it a cassette though, i always just refered to it as a tape.

How could you forget the first Golf War i mean Tiger Woods did so good

I've still got tons of cassettes-- and walmart still sells cassette player "boom boxes" for $9.98. Yes, I've seen a circular dial on a phone, but I'm not sure I've ever used one. I remember those bag car phones-- but they're definitely a thing of the past. Gulf War? I remember seeing something on TV as a kid about it... but I don't remember any details.

My Granny has a circle dail phone. I like to use it when I am at her house.
I remember my mom's bag phone! It sure is a long way from my flip phone today lol!

My son came home with a old 45 record last year and wanted to know what brand CD player played it.

I haven't bought a cassette for about 6 years now.

I love you all too!! You make me feel so young when I am around you.
