Story here. Technically, this practice is illegal in the UK which, in theory does not have very liberal abortion laws, although in practice the law is interpreted liberally to amount to de facto abortion on demand. Heartening though to see that the government are launching an investigation but whether any prosecutions will result is another matter; I'm not holding my breath...

The Health Secretary is “extremely concerned” because “sex selection” is legally and “morally” wrong. Okay…and concerning what is legal and presumed moral::

Here we see where the mindset that a woman has the right to do whatever with what is in her body leads; the thinking is that it should be okay to abort for “social reasons with no questions asked”…but whoa, don’t cross that line of admitting the abortion is for gender selection. This whole line of reasoning is totally messed up from the beginning!

How one can distinguish justification between “sex selection” and “social reasons” and still refer to a standard of “morality” is beyond me. If morality is established along such lines as to disregard the value of an unborn life in favor for establishing a woman’s rights to do what she will with what is growing inside “her” body then “morality” is not even in the picture, only legality based on the supposed “moral” decisions of a society. The line will continue to be crossed as long as this type of mindset exists. What is next...hair color, genetic factors that will foretell height, how about skin tone…whoa!...wouldn’t that be a moral issue to contend with that would get some up in arms!? May God help the unborn children who will face the type of reasoning in a society that would establish morality and impose legality on such pretenses.

This line of thought is in keeping with the administration's The Sheeple's Eugenics Bill (AKA the Health Care Bill).

Much of its underlying philosophy the brainchild of Ezekiel Emanuel (brother of Rahm) who was at least forthright, honest and brutally logical about his ideas of population control.

"We Have to Pass the Bill So That You Can Find Out What Is In It".

    "B-a-a-a-a OK".
