So you justify the sin of killing a husband and father because he was a sinner? I read somewhere our goal was to bring sinners to repentance. He was in Church, can you think of a better place for a sinner to be? Are we to pass judgment on all sinners and begin sending them to hell? Did God make use the judge, jury and executioner?

I understand the motive and emotion of your post but I don't find it to be in the spirit of Christianity.

For those who were offended that abortionist were included in the DHS report, I think this guy just justified abortionist being included.

Why was it not "in cold blood"? The assassin walked up to him and shot him. Not in self defense and not in war. It was absolutely in cold blood.

From the American Heritage Dictionary of Idioms: "In a purposely ruthless and unfeeling manner, as in The whole family was murdered in cold blood. This expression alludes to the notion that blood is the seat of emotion and is hot in passion and cold in calm. The term therefore means not "in the heat of passion," but "in a calculated, deliberate manner." [Late 1500s]"

That is a huge twisting of scripture and it is not our place to be judge or jury.

Sin is sin and murder is murder even if you hide behind a good and noble cause like ending abortion. I don't find in the bible where we should support sin if we believe the cause was justified.

It is another example of those who say they are conservative and/or fundamental but make very liberal interpretations of scripture.

Wow Tiny, now you blame the government for this murder because they didn't put him to death for something which is legal under the law. I know you don't want to hear this, but what he was doing is legal according to the law. What put him to death is not. It is not that Christians mourn more for him but I think most of us acknowledge the civil structure that makes us coexist as a society and separate man from animals.

I wonder how the ultra-left will use this event to take away our right to protest abortion and to own fire arms.

From what I see in some posts here, it is no wonder the fundie right is sometimes called "The American Taliban". Nowhere does the Bible say to kill sinners. Otherwise all would be killed.

No, it belongs to God to deal with it. We are not to usurp that role.

A woman who will die in childbirth can absolutely die in a late term abortion.

As for you asking if I am a doctor? Well, a very good friend of mine is my ob/gyn and we've talked about this a lot. He told me that there is NO reason to kill a baby to save the life of the mother in late pregnancy. The woman who owns the horse that I ride had her son at 26 weeks and 1 lb. 5oz. He is now going to be 2 at the end of the month and other than being slightly delayed for his age, he's doing great! A late term abortion is very drastic and is not a matter of simply giving a woman a pill. A doctor has to give her some medication to cause her cervix to dialate, then he will go into the uterus (which does not happen in most births), find the leg, wherever that may be (usually later in pregnancy, it is at the top of the uterus), pull it down towards the cervix and out then pulling the baby just about fully out of the uterus before the skull is punctured and the brains are sucked out.

Now, let's change that up a bit. The woman WANTS the baby but for whatever reason, the baby must be born in order to save the life of the mother. A few different things can happen - the mother is induced to labor and give birth, or a c-section is performed. There would be reasons to do one over the other, depending on what the issue is with the mother, but either one will most likely produce a child that is alive and a mother who has now given birth and can be cared for in whatever way she needs.

I can guarantee you one thing - no woman has heard "You need to kill your baby in order to live" after 25 weeks. "You need to give birth right now and your baby has a small chance of surviving but we'll do all we can to save him." might be heard in late pregnancy. That is what my girlfriend heard when the baby's heartrate dropped to 6 while she was in the hospital at 26 weeks. They rushed her into the OR telling her that it's now or never. They HAD to deliver the baby in order to save both of them. They never said "You need to kill your baby right now so you can live." It just doesn't happen. Earlier in pregnancy? Yes. But not when late term abortions are performed.

I agree, I think we need to be careful about fighting evil with evil. When God's people resort or condone evil, then we are no better or different that satan's people.

I have had doctors tell me exactly the opposite. That it is rare, but sometimes necessary to save the mother. So we both have hearsay evidence. But remember these late term abortions are also very rare, as you might expect.

There are those on the right who do NOT support going into church & shooting abortion doctors. FYI.

Of course, I would never enter a church where an abortionist was an usher,

Yep, wouldn't want to sully yourself where sinners might be present.

Or maybe he wouldn't want to go to a church where they condone such actions.

Then you should have gone to killer Tiller's abortuary and witnessed to him. Perhaps you could have observed him at his job which he apparently loved, perhaps got some esoteric thrill from slaughtering babies. And some in this country get upset that chickens are apparently hung by their feet and decapitated.

No squirming here, I meant what I said. You obviously have no standards for church ushers. I do.
