I don't applaud the good that comes from embryo research how, I do thank God for the wisdom and understanding he has entrusted to man. Man doesn't always do the right thing with knowledge, but we do have an awesome God who giveth just the same.

I have not studied this area and don't know the reasoning placed in this practice. I distinguished murder because life for a life is biblical in foundation, however, I haven't given thought what to do with their organs.

Jesus Christ did freely die for our sins. However it is incorrect to say that he was not murdered since Scripture states otherwise.

    Acts 2:22, 23 KJV
    22. Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
    23. Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

Previously you said this - "Yes, I don't appreciate the taking of an unborn life but if another can benefit I find it better than just discarding the fetus. Yes it is an atrocity but at least it isn't a complete waste."

So what's to study? Why don't you just apply the same moral value system to a different situation?

An eye for an eye and then harvest the body so that it won't be a "complete waste"?

BTW, I am starting to think that you are deliberately dodging questions here. Not good debate form.

You beat me to it. I was going to say that. :tongue3:

But even though Jesus was murdered, He was not a victim. He chose to die by the hands of murderers.

I don't think that's accurate. Support it with facts.

So test tube babies constitute murder since the process involves producing more embryos than are used. Right? Know many couples that have resorted to this to have children?

When Planned Parenthood offered vouchers back around Christmas-time, it was for basic health care services, or the recipient's choice of birth control method.

Which of those is abortion? Health care, or birth control method?

Not many at all. I personally haven't met one couple.

Last time I did any research on the subject, somewhere around 30,000 a year. If you figure at least two embryos in order to get one baby, that's 30,000 that are killed.

Now, contrast that with how many kids are waiting to be adopted.

Every time you bring up numbers, you conveniently overlook all the different numbers that are actually involved.

For the record: Planned Parenthood (on their website) does make a distinction between the morning after pill (Plan B) and the abortion pill (RU-486).
