Not only tell them about Jesus but give them a true choice - one that includes life for the child.

Yes, annsni, I agree. They need to be provided with a true choice absent the dogma as they are already confused to begin with.

Perhaps he is not online and actually has a life? You know, a job, family, ministry - that sort of thing. Not everyone can spend their life on the computer arguing.

Evan, I do have a life. I am able to often check the board at work, as my job requires compiling documentation meaning I have bursts of downtime. I do have a life outside of this place, as well. When I'm not working, I'm either with my family, at my church, or, more often than not, with my girlfriend.

Now, all that aside, would you please educate me on the "lie" I told on you? I'm missing it. See, I believed we were having a decent, civil conversation. You made comments and I replied. I made comments and you replied. At what point did I tell a lie on you?

If it's to do with the "separation" issue, then I apologize if you took that as a lie. It was a a somewhat facetious attempt on my part to point out how I think you allow a legalistic view of separation to stop you from doing a good work for someone else, simply because you don't have doctrinal agreement with them.

Actually the strongest opponent of abortion in this country is the Roman Catholic Church. They were against abortion while Criswell and Southern Baptists were supporting it.

Following is a commentary on Southern Baptists and abortion. Given the lack of attention given to abortion from Baptist pulpits the article certainly has merit. I should warn everyone that there is a picture they may not want to see, even though they should.

A condom is birth control. The pill is birth control. Abstinence is birth control. Abortion is the murder of an innocent child while in the mother's womb.

In the sense that it involves murdering a child...then yes.

That displays how the church has swallowed hook, line and sinker.

Conception and birth are not the same event, they are separated by 9 months. But the world (and the evil one) would love to continue to muddle that interval we call pregnancy.

By making conception and birth the same event....if you can justify any, you can justify them all.

Condom, pill, etc are CONCEPTION control.

But AFTER conception has happened, Birth = DELIVERY

Of those you mentioned, ONLY abortion birth control.

That is right, and it is sad that such things need to be explained.

When you said that I do not desire conversation with apostates but just want to write letters. This is a lie and you know it.

Sure, it was a sad post. The unborn child is just that. That is not "muddling" it is recognizing the fact that in the womb and a living child, a human being. Your belittling of that fact ....well there is just no words for it other than to say it is pure evil.

Let's look at what I actually said, Evan...
I've bolded the section you are calling out. If you'll notice, I was asking you for clarification. I was not making a statement, but asking a question. You seem to have a fairly staunchly legal idea of 'separation,' so the question seemed valid to me at the time.

I'm sorry you took that as me telling a lie about you. It was never intended as such.

So does this mean that abortion is not murder? Murder only counts once a person has been born? How do states get away with charging drunk drivers who kill pregnant women with two counts of vehicular manslaughter?

    Clarify, please, James?
