Sadly, it looks as if it will be a real possibility that we will see homosexual marriage legalized in this country. Which will bring about a new question for our churches that hold to the idea that such a marriage is sinful. If a man who is married to another man in the eyes of the state becomes converted and decides to join a baptist church, do we require him to have a divorce, or would it be enough for him to seperate from his "marriage partner"? This question almost seems like a joke. But, should our Lord tarry, the issue will probably come up. thoughts?
