Does anyone here think this is a good proof text for door to door soulwinning.

Some of you 5-point types, I know your theology affects your outreach philosophy, so fill me in.

    No, I don't.

I think it refers to teaching/preaching both in the temple and in private homes--not door-to-door witnessing.

    And I'm not a Calvinist.

I think there are better references that talk about going out everywhere and telling people about Christ, which can include door-to-door.

IMO, door-to-door is an acceptable method of getting the gospel out, as well as going out on the street and passing out tracts, but I don't think we really need to have a specific Bible verse that tells us exactly how to do soul winning.
As long as the method does not violate any Scriptural principles, I see no problem with it and I really don't need a "proof-text" for a specific method.
