But the real question - was it an inny or an outy
Sorry guys, I'm not up to this depth of theology!Whistling
It doesn't matter anyway Crabby doesn't even believe in a real Adam or Eve.
Since they didn't have clothes, what else would they do with their buttons?
That was unwarranted.
Proverbs 10:12 — Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all offenses.
Luke 6:31 — And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them.
Galatians 5:19-21 — Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Titus 3:2 — Speak evil of no one, avoid quarreling, be gentle, and show perfect courtesy toward all people.
Romans 12:18 — If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.
Paintings of Adam and Eve have belly buttons because the models had belly buttons. The cartoon was funny but it's not proof that Adam or Eve were born from a womb. Also, as an artist, the belly button is one of the spots you measure to make sure your anatomy is proportional since it about three heads down when you're standing straight.
