Well the democrats have been craving a monarch for years. Perhaps they can crown Hillary Rex in 2016. Then we will have Chelsa, then Chelsa's daughter, then whoever. That is one reason they want to increase the Hispanic population so much. Of course in Central and South America "coups" are common!

Bill Clinton will put all the old monarchs to shame with the "ladies in waiting".

Walker is impressive as is Carson. I see Carson as a VP more than president simply because he has no political experience. I have no problem with any of the governors running except perhaps the fat buddy of EWF. I don't want another Bush. Jeb is capable but it looks too much like a monarchy. I like Cruz and Rubio but they are Senators. Rand Paul is too much of a libertarian for me but anyone the Republicans put up is better than Queen Hillary to the .0001% American Indian from Mass.

That Republican turncoat from Va. is not bad. Very talented person just switched parties in a moment of weakness!

I'm almost there but I doubt I'll have the stomach to vote for the big D. 2016 is starting to feel like another no win scenario.

 

Well I agreed with him in spirit, but yes, the thought of actually voting for any of them is pretty sickening. I'll be voting libertarian.

 

I think a lot of people feel this way. That's another reason why I don't think it matters who the GOP runs. Hillary will be the next President if she wants to run.

 

Just remember with every extra woman or wife comes a mother in law. Think how Solomon must have felt.

The only reason I disagree with you is that everytime the Republicans nominate an establishment RINO, usually moderate to liberal, they either get squashed or barely win. The last time Republicans nominated a conservative, they win in a landslide. Look at the elections of 72, 80 and 84 on an electoral map.

 

I agree. I have cast my last vote for liberal Republicans like Mitch McConnell. I voted for Matt Biven in the primary, and voted Democrat in the general election. The way I look at it, if you got to vote for a liberal, it might as well be the ones who are masters at it.

 

We always hear about the issue of abortion between the two parties. Democrats promote it and Republicans have a paragraph in their National planks against it. So how does this work in real life. Democrats do exactly what they say they will. They promote it and pass laws to make it easier. What do Republicans do? Nothing except at election time. Republicans have had several years since 1989 where there was a Republican President, Republican Congress, and conservative Supreme Court and did nothing. At election time they will pound the podium about right to life, but the election passes and nothing happens, over and over again. In essence the Republicans are exchanging the blood of the innocent while pandering for votes.

What about gay rights and marriage. Both parties are equally guilty.

This in no way takes up for the Democrats, but it does show that both parties are totally dysfunctional and stand for nothing except staying in power.

Yes, republicans have been able to nibble away at the edges, but abortion will remain federally protected unit a conservative supreme court overturns it.

Republicans are not very successful at appointing constitutional justices.

 

Then why is the rate of abortions continue unabated? The goal is not to nibble at the issue, the goal is to stop the murdering. The Declaration of Independence declares everyone has the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That does not mean passing laws that mean nothing.
