I would love if everyone on this board were out witnessing in some way or method this weekend or sometime soon. Here is a journal of my time out today to encourage you to do the same.

    The Good
Must have passed out several hundred tracts and Gospel of John's as the Million Dollar Bill Tract, and my gospels went out like hotcakes. A elderly man security Guard was interested in the gospel as well as a homeless man. Then later I ran into a man from a Charismatic Church whom was open air preaching and had a huge admiration for The Way of the Master and using the Law in evangelism. We spoke for about 20 minutes, encouraged one another as iron sharpens iron, and prayed for each other. Although we did not agree on the gifts of spirit, nor the Armianism vs. Calvinism debate, we both agreed that God had called us to be out witnessing to the lost in Denver. Then near the end of my stay I ran into a homeless lady, whom as hurting and looking for food. We chatted and I took her to Taco bell and bought her lunch. She admitted she had broken God's Law in the 10 commandments and so I gave her much grace and not LAW as she need that as Jesus gave grace to the humble, but gave LAW to the proud.

    The Bad
Ran into a member of the Church of Scientology of Denver, another member of a TD Jakes church, and a very antagonistic agnostic lady that ripped my tract up to many pieces right in front of me and showed much evidence that she had been convicted by the 10 commandments and the Gospel which showed in her open hostile attitude towards me.

    The Ugly
While I was having lunch a bunch of protesters were carrying signs and promoting some socialist agenda. I wanted to open air preach or confront them in someway, but their cause was political and not religious so God did not allow an opportunity for me to do that. Then when I started to open air preach a man cussed me out every other sentence and really had a hot mouth and a hate for gospel preachers. I simply rebuked him and said that it may be possible he may not be of the elect and those whom God had called to salvation and to him God is dead, the Bible is full of fairly tales and lies, and the church full of hypocrites. He simply was blinded by Satan and bound in his sin. I said my message was for all, but only the elect would hear it.

Maybe, but if Calvinism is true, there is a high probability he is not elect. Jesus said MANY shall go into destruction, but only FEW find life.

Mat 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Evangelist was simply being consistent with what Calvinism really teaches, he did not say the man was not elect, but that it might be POSSIBLE he is not elect. That is not only true, but it is actually highly probable he is not elect if Calvinism is true.

And I thought "gospel" meant "Good News".

Thats why I said "It may" as I could not say for sure. I just made things clear that only the elect would heed the message.

Yes I did end my sermon with God loves sinners and why he came to die for them. I wanted to make sure I preached more than just the LAW, but also grace for those with open ears.

I am striving for BALANCE as I have learned from Dispensationalist (non Calvinist) pastors such as David Jeremiah

If you believe in Limited Atonement that is a half-truth. If you believe in Limited Atonement, you believe Jesus only died for "some" sinners. When you use the blanket term "sinners" it gives the impression Jesus died for all men.
What in the world does dispensationalism have to do with Limited or Unlimited Atonement?

In the old says I preached FREE WILL and that man can choose God without God first calling him

Listen to a old sermon of mine.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5UHT2t3uYw

But these days I do not believe this.

    Jn 6:44
"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day.

You failed to realize my sarcasm about the gospel being "Good News". If God has only chosen to save a few persons, and has chosen to pass over the vast majority of mankind, that is hardly good news.

Sure, it was great that 705 persons were rescued when the Titanic sank, but 1522 died. Most folks did not consider this good news.

Cause many Calvinist do not believe in preaching grace, but instead preach that GOD HATES SINNERS, BUT GOD HATES what they have become, but loves them and died for them.

JI Packer wrote a book on divine Sovereignty and Human Responsibility. Its a complex subject and I do not fully understand it, however I know that only God can regenerate a person.

    Jn 6:44

    Ezekiel 36:26
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

    2 Corinthians 4:4-6
The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 5 For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. 6 For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,”[a] made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.

    Acts 13:48
And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

I agree only God can regenerate a person.

    Your point?

You are only showing a cherry-picked proof text. The scriptures also tell us to "make you a new heart and spirit".

Eze 18:30 Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
31 Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
32 For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.

See, you are only showing a half-truth.

Yes, Satan is a liar and blinds men from the truth, everyone agrees with this.

Does this say they were ordained to believe? NO, it says they were ordained to eternal life. Everyone who believes is ordained to eternal life, God has determined to give eternal life to everyone who believes on his Son Jesus.

You misinterpret this verse to be saying that "as many as were ordained to believe". It doesn't say that at all.

No I copied it right from the KJV.

    The ESV says

And when the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed.

    WinMan cool down...

You are on a crusade against Calvinism and turn every thread into this agenda. Rarely do I see you debating on anything but this issue... Calm down...

I said earlier if you read my entire post that I chatted with a Arminian evangelist and we DID NOT AGREE on this issue, however we both dropped the debate and focused on our evangelism and encouraging each other as brothers in the Lord. You need to do likewise..

    You are missing the point.

Does it say, "And as many as were ordained to believe?"

No, it says, "And as many as were ordained (or appointed) unto eternal life. "

Believing is not what was ordained, eternal life is what was ordained.

Now, that said, eternal life was ordained for those who believe. Nevertheless, this verse is not teaching that these persons were ordained to believe. That is error on your part. They were ordained to eternal life.

You are something, you appreciate when Ray Comfort bashes his opponents and shows them "no mercy", but you want me to calm down.

You are very selective about what type of preaching you like, aren't you?
