If you like the NIV version of the Bible, you can get some really good deals on them from http://www.ibsdirect.com They do have a limited selection of KJV, NKJV and NLT, as well as the NIrV, TNIV and many foreign language versions. If you are like me and love giving away God's Word but have to limit yourself because of the price, you might like this site! There is even a bigger discount given for buying in bulk.

I am not debating whether or not these versions are good. I am only offering and FYI for those who care!

Thank you Sister Lorelai for the Link and the information.

I feel it is uncalled for and absolutely rude for these other posters to start a KJV/NIV, arminian/calvanism, kitchen sink/bathroom stool, and whatever debate on your thread, when they have a forum just for those never-ending battles.

Thank you Sister and may God bless.

And I just eliminated those posts. Let's grow up.

Thanks for the link. I love to give out the Word of God in various English translations.

I like the 75 cent Gospel of John booklets. I think I'm going to order some to give to our first-time visitors. Thanks for the link!

I bought from IBS frequently some years ago and was pleased with their products.

The American Bible Society also has some good prices and offers a dozen different translations.

Thanks for the link rsr. I had no idea that ISB was out there, so I thought others might like to know. I found this while I was searching for a comoflauge Bible for my husband. (He just recently enlisted in the Army) I had trouble finding any at all. The Army has one in another version (forget which one, but not one I use very much) and then ISB has this one. My hubby actually is KJV preferred, but I had to get the NIV to get the camo cover. For $2.99 who could beat the price! It is nice and compact in size and will fit nicely in his footlocker during Basic! My husband doesn't mind the NIV, he was pleased with it. We also got one for his friend (non-Christian) that also enlisted. He accepted it well, and we are hoping he will some day read it!

ANYWAY....since I just "happened" to find it, I thought others might like to know. Thanks all for the comments, glad you found it useful. Feel free to share other resources too!
