    I just found this on another website

    Breaking News: Senator John Kerry reacts to the death of Zarqawi:

    "I would have got him sooner. I would have got him smarter."

    Good riddance to bad rubbish, I say.

    I'm sure President Bush danced a jig when he heard about this!

    Al is dead....

    The Man in the House is being careful now with how he reacts, though, because the fact is..they still hadn't gotten the really big fishes, beginning with Osama.

    I'm sure he is...[IMG]

    Pinoybaptist – I disagree with your comment. This is a huge success let’s rejoice in this victory… It’s also appropriate that the Prime Minister of Iraq, Nouri al-Maliki break this story, as he did.

    Keeping this VICTORY postive? :thumbs::thumbs::applause:

    I rejoice in his demise. I rejoice, because he can't bomb any more weddings. Further, we don't have to put up with some horse hockey trial, with the Hollywood crowd weeping for him, offering him assylum, Noam Chomsky offering him pro-bono representation.

    I, too, am rejoicing at his death, his evil stamped out like the cockroach he was. No virgins, no parades, no celebrations in hell, only eternal torment. I do not mourn that he is in hell for all of eternity right along with Hitler and the 19 hijackers.

    Hats off to our miliary! Joseph, a steak sounds mighty fine. I'll bring the dessert! :)

    Congratulations to our military personnel on a successful mission. :thumbs:

    Now probably only about 19,999 terrorists more to go in Iraq.

    He wanted to taste martyrdom....

    He tasted it allright. Along with some C-4, concrete, & rebarb, a meal fit for a hell bound head chopper. Rest in pieces you, foul disgrace.:thumbs:

    Congrats to our military, the best fighting force in the world.

    Does God take this much joy in the destruction of the wicked?

    While it is a good thing as far as getting a know terrorist off the map, I think, as Christians, we should be a little less thrilled that this man will be spending eternity in Hell.

    A good point, webdog. That's why I concentrated my remarks toward our military personnel. I try to be mindful of John Donne's words:

    "No man is an Island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the Continent, a part of the main; if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friends or of thine own were; any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in Mankind; And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; It tolls for thee."

    And I think we should keep his head, and show it to future enemies, kinda like David did. This is good news, and I'm pretty sure God is happy that his command is being followed.

    Well, this gives me a clue:

    Psalm.2 [4] He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

    Ezek 18:23“Do I have any pleasure in the death of the wicked,” declares the Lord GOD, “rather than that he should turn from his ways and live?

    32“For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies,” declares the Lord GOD. “Therefore, repent and LIVE!"

    Isaiah 63:So He became their Savior.
    9 In all their affliction He was afflicted,
    And the angel of His presence saved them;
    In His love and in His mercy He redeemed them,
    And He lifted them and carried them all the days of old.
    10 But they rebelled
    And grieved His Holy Spirit;
    Therefore He turned Himself to become their enemy,
    He fought against them.

    Matt 23
    37“Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were unwilling.
    38“Behold, your house is being left to you desolate!

    Luke 19:
    41When He approached Jerusalem, He saw the city and wept over it,
    42saying, “If you had known in this day, even you, the things which make for peace! But now they have been hidden from your eyes.
    43“For the days will come upon you when your enemies will throw up a barricade against you, and surround you and hem you in on every side, 44and they will level you to the ground and your children within you, and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not recognize the time of your visitation.”

    I just went to market for dog food, and saw 5 or 6 folks sitting in a puddle, rocking back & forth, screaming like a fired up pentecostals, and it dawned on us watching, these were Muslims mourning their St. Headchopper Booboo Zarquari. And yup, they were all facing east.

    It was the only time I have ever wished I had a stack of Chick tracts.

    Any other moron sightings similar ? (And yes, if you mourn his passing, and think it's a bad thing, yer a moron)

    Wow, webdog. Can't believe you are equating Zarqawi with the people of Israel. But if you want to pull Scriptures out of context, you can prove your point to someone somewhere. Meanwhile, we are going to enjoy our steaks.

    I have to agree with your webdog. It is good that he won't be able to kill again, but to rejoice over his death, I think goes too far.

    Jesus died for all people, and we should wish and hope that they see the light and come to the Lord even until the last minute, and if they don't we should be sad that they didn't get to experience the after-life our God truely wanted them too.

    It seems we stand in the minority in this thread though...

    Are there different "brands" of lost people? Lost is lost.
    Kinda like you did? Nothing I posted was out of context. Those were Scriptures about God not delighting in the death of the wicked, whether you do or not.
    Enjoy. When you give thanks for the food why don't you pray for his family, their loss, and the need for salvation for all radical muslims like him.
