Albert Martin Eldership Controversy

    We seem to have strayed from Jerome's original question:
    What exactly did other Reformed Baptists find objectionable about Albert Martin's view/practice of Eldership?
    Most posts (and I include my own post 9) seem to be concerned with Al Martin's preaching, not with his views/practice of Eldership. indeed, we haven't yet established what his views or practice on eldership are, and without doing that, how can we possibly say what other Reformed Baptists are supposed to have found "objectionable" about them.

    Speaking for myself, I have never heard that he held any outlandish or unorthodox views on eldership.
