Jones later warned a trio of colleagues: "Don't any of you three tell anybody that the U.K. has a Freedom of Information Act!"

There are attempts to silence dissenters.

Tom Wigley, a senior scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research, told colleagues that "If you think that (Yale Professor James) Saiers is in the greenhouse skeptics camp, then, if we can find documentary evidence of this, we could go through official (American Geophysical Union) channels to get him ousted."...

Lord Monckton of Britain, a skeptic like Inhofe and Lawson, has reacted a bit more bitterly, saying these researchers "are not merely bad scientists — they are crooks. And crooks who have perpetrated their crimes at the expense of British and U.S. taxpayers."

 

Just like on so many things in science if you don't agree with the group making all the noise, they will discredit you.

To put things in perspective the subject of these emails and documents were funded by millions in taxpayer dollars and should have never been hidden in the first place.

Now, subverting FOI requests as revealed in the emails--there is a true crime.

Yeah, funny how after the Enron scandal, liberals made heroes out of whistle blowers and even passed laws to protect them but now that the whistles are being blown on them, whistle blowers are the bad guys.

 

And the perpetuation of a myth with the design to oppress free people everywhere is NOT a true crime? Subverting the Freedom of Information requests ain't even close.

 

Amazingly, there are still some who still believe this garbage.

Fortunately, the number of gullible individuals on the BaptistBoard who bought into this swindle-masqueraded-as-saving-the-earth are down to single digits, at best.

At some point, even the most dogmatic must face the truth.
