Catholics and Hispanics vote 2 to 1 Democrat. The GOP does not get any votes from Hispanics. However, it is true that the US Chamber of Commerce wants cheap, cheap labor.

The GOP has ardently been pursuing Hispanics because they realize that they have alienated Blacks too much to really have any chance in grabbing that voting bloc.

That's why it's stressed that Jeb Bush's wife is Hispanic . That's why the party has tried so hard to position Marc Rubio. That's why the party has tried so hard with it's Latino outreach programs the past few years.

The GOP wants the Hispanic vote as badly as the Dems want to keep the Black vote.

Politics is about money/power and manipulation.

Getting to closely associated with it does nothing for the image of the Christian.

 

What changed your mind ? When Bush was on office you were against this sort of thing.

I'm just pointing out what others have seen and addressed. so, while the rest of us try to move on, you need to "Live with it." In other words, live with the fact that underneath that tough exterior of skin lies a die hard party man that most dems would call a go to guy!

My words link me to loving Jesus Christ and what HE loves and that tends to run against the cancerous "conservative" politics on here and that's taking over the evangelical church.
