As a Baptist, do you consider yourself a Protestant?

The term "Protestant" is a generic term for a Christian that is non-Catholic. I don't have a problem with the term.

I agree with rsr and John.

It used to be, when filling out papers, you had two choices: Protestant or Catholic. You were one or the other.

I have no problem with being called a Protestant. I DID protest against the RCC. ;)

Finally educated the Hospital here to add Baptist/Other to their admittance form, in addition to Catholic, Protestant, Islam, Jewish.

Of course out here the Mormons lobbied to be INCLUDED as Protestant, to try to legitimize their filth. And we go the other extreme!

BTW, served as a Naval Chaplain and BAPTIST is distinct from protestant. I learned to do Protestant services (think Lutheran as a general pattern) but could schedule Baptist as well.

    I am NOT a Protestant.

And everyone is entitled to my opinion.

    Hank,

Thanks for the laugh; that was funny. [IMG]

But if I want your opinion, I'll give it to you. [IMG]
